He was born in Banja Luka in the Republic of Srpska. After first studying veterinary science, he turned to theology and graduated in 2005 from the Faculty of Orthodox Christian Theology at the University of Belgrade.
He came to Australia in 2008. He served as the bishop’s deacon and the diocesan secretary. He was ordained on St Thomas Sunday in 2010.
He then served as assistant priest at St Lazarus Church in Alexandria, Sydney. He moved to Wollongong with his family in 2012.
He and his wife have four children. He also keeps bees.
